Abstract:

Gone to Texas, the true-life story of Sam Houston, the frontier hero and statesman whose bravery and vision led to the creation of the Republic of Texas. In Blue Steel, a young cowpoke reveals there is gold nearby in order to save a town from extinction, much to the displeasure of an outlaw gang already aware of the secret. In The Bounty Man, a vicious bounty hunter fights against desperadoes who plan to steel his bounty. In The Trackers, when marauders kill a rancher's son and abduct his daughter, the crusty cattleman sends for a professional "tracker" to hunt the outlaws down.

In Life is tough, eh Providence?, Provvidenza is a bounty hunter who makes his living by catching the same crook over and over to collect rewards in different jurisdictions. In The Bounty Killer, an escaped convict and a ruthless bounty hunter face off in a dangerous violent showdown. In The Price of Power, a former Civil War soldier seeks revenge against the killers of his father while at the same time trying to prevent an assassination plot against president James Garfield. In Sundance Cassidy and Butch the Kid, estranged brothers must live together for six months in order to cash in on their inheritance.
