One of Nick Nolte's Best

by tprather (WorldCat user published 2008-11-04) Excellent Permalink

I avoided watching this film for 10 years because I'd read the reviews and knew it was going to be an emotional experience.  Nick Nolte is superb.  This is one of many fine performances, but one of his best.  It's hard to watch but it's a masterpiece of modern tragedy.
