Both works are 3-act operas, and both are unpublished; Alessandro ms. consists of a sinfonia, sinfonia militaire, march and 25 vocal numbers with texts by Metastasio and was first performed at the Royal Berlin Opera House on Dec. 21, 1744; Cinna ms. consists of a sinfonia and 20 vocal numbers with texts by Leopold de Villati and was first performed at the same opera house on Jan. 1, 1748.
