Folger Library's copy is David Garrick's promptbook for the Drury Lane production. On the page preceding the t.p. in manuscript: "Alfred' a masque revived by David Garrick for performance at Drury Lane Theatre ... 1773. The alterations in Garrick's autographs." Includes also in manuscript the history of the play and its alterations. Manuscript annotations consist mainly in text alterations and additions. Interleaved.
