Engravings by T. Illman after H. Corbould, R.W. Weir, T. Gainsborough, W. Behnes, W. Collins, and H. Thompson.
Southern District of New York copyright 1834 by Thomas Illman.
The contents list of illustrations calls for 9 plates, plus a presentation plate at front, or 10 plates total. It was probably issued, however, without the plate called for opposite p. 106 ("The young emigrant"--A drawing by A. Cooper.). The copy in hand, in the publisher's embossed leather binding, lacks this plate and shows no signs of its excision.
Error in paging: p. vi misnumbered iv.
