The American Revolution received international support, but it was overshadowed by the long winter at Valley Forge, where the Colonial Army was drilled by the Prussian general Baron Von Steuben. From Valley Forge, Washington led his newly trained army into battle against the British at Monmouth. This program focuses on these important conflicts, and looks at the worst winter of the war, with the mutiny at Morristown.
