Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott led a 72 year battle for women's rights and the right to vote. In June of 1997, the statue honoring these three women was raised from the Basement Crypt of the US Capitol to the Rotunda. It had been in the basement for 76 years. This is its story and the story of the three American revolutionaries who take their place in American history.

Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott led a 72 year battle for women's rights and the right to vote.
