Abstract:

A biography of Anjelica Huston. Breaking the mold is what Anjelica Huston does best. Her personal life has been a struggle for independence from her controlling father, director John Huston. Determined to launch his daughter's career, Anjelica's father turned down offers she received from other directors and gave her the lead in 'A walk with love and death'. Unfortunately, the critics' scathing reviews discouraged Anjelica from acting. Following a modeling stint in New York, Anjelica eventually did enjoy a successful film career. Then her tumultuous 17-year relationship with Jack Nicholson came to a halt upon her learning of his infidelity. This humiliation and personal anguish was also conquered with style and grace. Today, Anjelica is happily married to Robert Graham, a Los Angeles sculptor. This is the first interview where Anjelica speaks candidly about her breakup with Nicholson.
