|Named Person:||William Lisle Bowles|
|All Authors / Contributors:||
William Lisle Bowles; Edwin Baily
|Notes:||Apparently a proof or trial printing of a work which was never completed. It was included, in a copy held by Trinity College, Oxford, as part of a larger work, partly paginated in ink manuscript by the author and including his "Christian domination of Great Britain over the globe ... ", another incomplete work.
A note to the reader (p. [iii]) begins "This little, and the author's last work upon earth, contains the letters originally published in the Salisbury journal and herald, to which are now added the Christian emperors, with incidental remarks."
The final leaf bears errata (this leaf may perhaps be intended to appear before the title-leaf).
The plate shows the two faces of a Roman coin.
