In the book "Anne of Green Gables" we can find adventures of the girl who is livining in the Prince Edward Island, Canada. Shedoesn't have parents. she came to home of Mathew and Marila. But at the beginning she had problems. First, there was mistake, because even Marila and Mathew never asked of an girl. They wanted to get a boy to help themwith home works. Finally they allowed Anne stayed with them. She is going to school and soon we can find that she is very good student. She has a best of the best friend Diana. They became a true friends. In this book we can find a lot of funny and interesting situations. One of that is when Anne together with Mat\rila prepare the cake. Eveything is going well until Anne has to give a piece of cake to a Marila's friend. Than she found a mouse in it. She remember that Marila told her she should put a cover on the cake. But of course Anne forgot!!! We can also find in this book a love story. It is very innocent because both Anne and Gilbert are stillchildren. We can see that Anne didn't want to admit of her feeling to Gilbert, but it is well shown that she also love Gilbert (at least in the nextofthe series) I will recomend this book for all girls, because they can find there: a true friendship, many adventures of Anne and her friends, and also love.
