Abstract:

Recorded interviews and transcripts conducted by a historian of the civil rights movement with Ella Baker, Annie Devine, Ivanhoe Donaldson, Lawrence Guyot, Fannie Lou Hamer, Robert Kastenmeier, Ed King, Sandy Leigh, Allard Lowenstein, Robert Moses, Joseph Rauh, Mendy Samstein, and Walter Tillow.

Transcripts are present for all the interviews; recordings are present only for Robert Kastenmeier, Joseph Rauh, and Ivanhoe Donaldson. The Annie Devine and Ed King interviews however are available on Side 2 of tape no. 4 of Audio 425A; this was possibly a copy retained inadvertently by the Historical Society.
