A successful engineer buys a palace, much against the wishes of his family and friends, as the palace is believed to have some history. The ghost of a dancer named Nagavalli is supposedly locked in a room. Curious to find out what exactly is inside the room, two house servants unlock the room, and are soon attacked. The new owner himself misses death during one of the attacks. This marks the entry of a psychiatrist who is a friend of the engineer.
