Thirteen lithographs on loosely inserted pages, folded in half, bearing original private watermark in bottom left corner. Each folded page numbered with Roman numerals.
Prints produced from Baskin's original pen and ink drawings, signed and dated. Plate IV has an bright orange washed background and plate VI has a brown wash.
Quarter red art canvas and laid paper elephant portfolio covered boards with a red backstrip. Gilt lettering on spine and front board. In slipcase.
"Twenty-five hundred single suites have been placed in boxed portfolios covered in a Bugra laid paper, and have been numbered in arabic numerals 1-2500"--Preliminary page.
Portfolio boxes created at the bindery of Richard Mayer, Stuttgart, West Germany. Printed at the Curwen Press, Ltd. London. Paper specially made and manufactured by E. Towgood & Sons, Sawston, Cambridgeshire, England.--Page preceding title page.
