I own this book and I love it. If you love art, museums, libraries, librarianship, and Joan you will love it too!
Ok now for the a criticism. It makes no sense that a huge percentage of the images have no color other than white and gray? It is an art book!
Color is critical for visual language.
Bonous: the color on the cover is very rich.
tip for art history even architecture and sculpture should be photographed in color.
