Celebration to mark the gift of personal papers and memorabilia of John V. Atanasoff to Iowa State University. Includes tributes by the president of the university and dean of library services. John V. Atanasoff II relates personal narratives of his father and shows some of his other invention and projects, including a concrete house, windmill powered boat, motorcycle tractor, work on the Helgoland project, optimum alphabet, egg tester, and popsicle stick. Program concludes with the playing of a portion of the song Ballad to John V. Atanasoff, written by Clark R. Mollenhoff.
