Synopsis de l’éditeur
As a gastrointestinal (GI), hepato-biliary, and pancreatic imaging atlas, this book is not just a work of art; it is clearly a labour of love on behalf of the primary first editor. Its pages are packed with radiological and endoscopic images using every possible imaging mode. The majority of the images are quite stunning and the ''wow'' factor generated by some is quite remarkable.
The range of pathology covered within the book, as well as its correlative imaging, is quite striking and I have not been able to find any significant GI disease that is not effectively covered. The book is traditionally arranged starting with abnormalities of the oesophagus and feeding down the GI tract to the rectum and finishing up with the pancreas and the liver. Things are nicely laid out and there is a good index allowing rapid access to the appropriate images for the radiologist on the move. A worthwhile book to have on your desk.
