A video package aimed at assisting migrants in understanding local news and current events. The package facilitates the participation of people from other language and cultural backgrounds in Australian society by extending their understanding of Australian social, political and economic events and English language acquisition. Looks at the significance of the day in modern day Australia, representing the views of Aboriginal Australians, early European migrants and today's multicultural society.
