Shakespearean references include: authorship of Edward III; biographical information; facsimiles of plays; alleged forgeries; his house; his knowledge of law; monuments; portraits, and criticism. Scattered references to attacks on Collier occur in the Ebsworth letters and elsewhere; several concern the Perkins Folio; enclosed in (167) are copies of 16 title pages taken from the "corrected folio of 1632." Letters contain numerous references to his associations with the Camden Society, the Percy Society, and the Shakespeare Society. (216-223) are newspaper clippings, 1859-1860, discussing the authenticity of emendations in the Perkins Folio; with them is Collier's unpublished draft of his reply, March 25, 1860, to Sir Frederic Madden's letter in the Times.
