Summary:	Results from OCLC's WordSmith and Resource Description Framework [RDF] projects are combined to extract concepts from Web documents, automatically creating subject hierarchies that conform to an international metadata standard. Once in this form, the subject hierarchies can be used as navigable topic maps for Web sites and as a bridge to standard classification schemes.
