From Venus with love (first aired January 14, 1967) : the avengers put the zap on a lethal ray that is murdering scientists -- The fear merchants (first aired January 21, 1967) : a cut throat businessman gains the competitive edge by murdering his rivals -- Escape in time (first aired January 28, 1967) : when a mad miscreant whips up a time machine, it takes the avengers no time at all to show him the "era" of his ways -- The see-through man (first aired February 4, 1967) : when an enemy agent purchases a secret "invisibilty" formula, it takes the perceptive avengers to see through his plans -- The bird who knew too much (first aired February 11, 1967) : a flock of birds leads the avengers to a secret espionage ring -- The winged avenger (first aired February 18, 1967) : Steed and Mrs. Peel try to trap a comic book killer.
