More like a medical report

This book was written in 1973 and made into a hit movie in 1990. It was directed by Penny Marshall with Robert de Niro and Robin Williams. The movie is entertaining, the book is not. The 20 case studies in the book are more like serious medical reports. In the final chapter, however, the reading lightens...
