Golem: Willie Watt is an easy target for bullies like Nelson Nash and the rest of the jock crown of Hamilton High. But Willie has found a new friend: a two-story tall machine used for the construction of buildings. Once Willy is able to control the robot with his mind, his enemies must pay the price.
The winning edge: Mason and his teammates have become addicted to a horrible steroid drug administered through a patch called a slapper. As coach looks the other way, the team is winning. But the jocks have resorted to stealing to feed their habit, and Batman is resolved to stop them by finding the source of their drugs.
Dead man's hand: The Royal Flush Gang is back in Gotham City to wreak havoc, and King is determined to avenge a previous encounter with Batman. McGinnis falls for a new girl around town, unaware that her shadowy background is linked with the re-appearance of the criminals.
Meltdown: Derek Powers is desperate for a new body to repair his radiation-damaged DNA. A young doctor offers him hope and asks that he help her experiment on another human with a similar affliction: old Batman nemesis Victor Fries.
