Abstract:

When a wealthy merchant loses his fortune, his vain and greedy oldest and middle daughters are devastated but his kind-hearted youngest daughter, Beauty, sets out to help her father. In doing so, she finds herself held prisoner in the castle of an enchanted beast. When the older sisters find out their younger sister is being kept in luxury by the beast, whom she's come to adore, they try to sabotage Beauty's newfound happiness. Beauty barely manages to right the wrongs of her sisters and teaches her sisters that appearances are not always what they seem.
