Abstract:

John Steed, Mrs. Emma Peel and Ms. Tara King battle against the forces of suspicion and waywardness in these classic episodes of The Avengers. These extraordinary agents meet dastardly foes with an unrivaled sense of finesse and cunning. In Too many Christmas trees: The Avengers battle telepathic influences and a Tale of Two Cities nightmare in an attempt to retain top secret information. But on all-out fight in a mysterious hall of mirrors makes for more than a few Oliver "Twists" for Steed and Emma -- In Look (stop me if you've heard this one) ... : when clowning becomes criminal, Tara and Steed are called to the case. Costumes and cover-ups are no laughing matter as The Avengers attempt to stop a band of vaudeville villains -- All done with mirrors: a telescope is used to steal secrets, and with Steed under suspicion, Tara sets off to investigate. Battling heavies who are harnessing the sun's energy, and gun-toting thugs, Tara impresses even Steedm who cooks her a steak on the engine of his Rolls.
