Abstract:

The two larger fragments, appearing to come from the same manuscript, contain partial text of Psalms 57, 65, and 67 (identified by N.R. Ker). The smallest fragment appears to come from a different, but roughly contemporaneous, manuscript: one side bears text from Job 4:21 ("Qui autem reliqui fuerint auferentur ex eis morientur et non in sapientia"), the other has a passage from the breviary ("...peccatis meis, quia eruis sustinentes te, Domine. Omnia enim iudicia tua iusta sunt et omnes..."). These passages are severely obscured by omissions. The combination suggests that this smallest fragment was from a manuscript copy of the York Breviary. All three fragments appear to have survived as binding waste.
