Abstract:

A young student (female) is seduced by a socialite (also female) on the streets of Paris. They go off together to spend winter in St. Tropez. The young student then meets up with an architect (male), who comes between the two lovers. Out of jealousy, the socialite seduces the architect -- and they find real love for each other. The student is invited then by the architect and socialite to, in effect, form a ménage à trois beset by jealousy, madness and, ultimately, murder. A study in bisexuality and upper-class decadence.
