Boston Tea Party is illustrated with muted colors, mostly browns. This is an informational picture book using primary sources as much as possible. There is an introduction and afterword which serves as a prequel and sequel to the story. A page about tea explains the importance of tea drinking in American colonial society. An index, timeline, bibliography and source page are included. A great read aloud for social studies as well as entertaining individual reading. Recommended.
