"This first edition of The Bridge by Hart Crane with three photographs by Walker Evan printed for Harry and Caresse Crosby in hand-set Dorique type at their Black Sun Press, Paris (Maître-Imprimeur Lescaret) in January 1930 is limited to 200 numbered copies on Holland paper, 50 numbered copies on Japanese vellum signed by the author, 25 review copies hors commerce and, 8 special copies marked A to H"--Colophon.
Original glassine wrapped cover. Glassine sheet inserted before each illustration leaf. Enclosed in silver gilt paper covered slipcase.
Paper has watermark, "Van Gelder Zonen."
Publisher's advertisements follow colophon.
