Summary: Collection of broadsides, many of them oversize, consisting of posters, business cards, brochures, announcements, bumper stickers, fliers and playbills. The bulk of the material dates from World Wars I and II including posters for war bond sales, recruiting, Red Cross, anti-Japanese propaganda, patriotism and victory. Other highlights include Southern Pacific Railroad posters from the 1950s including one highlighting Apache Trail; Tucson Philharmonic Club 1889 regulations; one 1968 poster advertising a Linda Ronstadt and the Stone Poneys concert; an American Women's Voluntary Services poster, ca. 1945; and 1970s psychedelic posters advertising Valley National Bank. There are many campaign advertisements for Arizona politicians at all levels including George W.P. Hunt, B.B. Moeur, Nellie T. Bush, Olive G. Failor, Howard Pyle, Carl Hayden, Stewart Udall, Sam Goddard, Lew Murphy, and Morris Udall. There are also house rules for Geronimo Hotel, programs for Levin's Park, and wanted posters. Artists represented in the collection include Norman Rockwell, Ben Shahn, James Montgomery Flagg, Lew Davis, and Charles Dana Gibson.
