Correspondence between Frank Brophy and James S. Douglas documents Brophy's takeover of the Bank of Douglas and other changes in the banking industry over time. Other significant correspondents include Lewis Douglas, Charles Mitke, Eugene Pulliam, William Mathews, and Lon Megargee and organizations such as the Salt River Valley Water Users' Association, Morenci Water Company, Clifton Water Company, Night Hawk Mine, Cienega Ranch, and Arizona State Fair Commission. There are also business records for the Bank of Bisbee, Bank of Douglas, and other banks consisting of articles of incorporation, board of directors' meeting minutes, bonds, financial statements, advertising copy, correspondence, and a history of the founding of the Bank of Douglas.
