The classic smooth road to calculus

In my mathematical education, everything went smoothly until I hit calculus. Like many students, I found calculus a quantum leap that was difficult to make. It didn't help that my first calculus instructor was not good, and my first textbook was not the best. As a librarian, I keep my eyes out for books...
