"Given to Our Court, &c. the 19th Day of July, in the Year of Our Lord 1800. ... It was resolved, that the official Calendars to the 'Charter Rolls' in the Tower, and also to 'Inquisitiones ad quod Damnum' be prepared for the press, and printed of the like type and form as the Calendars to the Patent Rolls; with Indexes of persons and places to be made thereto; and that Mr. Caley be appointed a Sub-Commissioner for executing the same under this Board; and that the Secretary do write to the Keeper of the Records in the Tower conformably to this Resolution.'--P.
