Against a crooked sky: Sam Sutter is the only one left who believes that his sister is still alive after her capture by Indians. Against the wishes of his family he embarks on a search for her, facing insurmountable odds and the dangers of the wilderness. His perseverance leads him to his sister, now married to an Indian prince but condemned to die for a petty crime. Sam now must face the toughest and possibly the last battle of his life.
