Abstract:

Champagne: the true story of a teen-age girl (named Champagne) whose mother is incarcerated for murder. Living in a Caholic Children's home run by an order of nuns, Champagne provides poignant commentary about her mother, her own situation, and her outlook for the future. The talking eggs: story based on a Creole folk tale; an animated fable about a young girl named Selina befriends a mystical elderly woman. Magical things happen with her --not the least of which is the surprise of three talking eggs.
