Abstract:

Book 1, The magician's nephew : When Digory and Polly try to return the wicked witch Jadis to her own world, the magic gets mixed up and they all land in Narnia where they witness Aslan blessing the animals with human speech.

Book 2, The lion, the witch, and the wardrobe : Narnia ... the land beyond the wardrobe, the secret country known only to Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy ... the place where adventure begins. Lucy is the first to find the secret wardrobe in the professor's mysterious old house. At first, no one believes her when she tells of her adventures in the land of Narnia. But soon Edmund and then Peter and Susan discover the Magic and meet Aslan, the Great Lion, for themselves. In blink of an eye, their lives are changed forever. Enter this enchanted world countless times in The Chronicles of Narnia.

Book 3, The horse and his boy : A boy and a talking horse share an adventurous and dangerous journey to Narnia to warn of invading barbarians.

Book 4, Prince Caspian : Four children help Prince Caspian and his army of Talking Beasts to free Narnia from evil.

Book 5, The voyage of the Dawn Treader : Lucy and Edmund, accompanied by their peevish cousin Eustace, sail to the land of Narnia where Eustace is temporarily transformed into a green dragon because of his selfish behavior and skepticism.

Book 6, The silver chair : Two English children undergo hair-raising adventures as they go on a search and rescue mission for the missing Prince Rilian, who is held captive in the underground kingdom of the Emerald Witch.

Book 7, The last battle : When evil comes to Narnia, Jill and Eustace fight the great last battle and Aslan leads his people to a glorious new paradise.
