Wright, Company G, 27th Massachusetts Regiment, at Fort Monroe, Va., describing a flood, benefit lecture for soldiers, recruiting, and local men in the Army; together with letter from Fred Wright to his brother relating to a missing package and commenting on "taking possession of banks to Norfolk and Portsmouth" under the orders of General Butler.
