"Come Let Us Build" is a cogent, logical, spirit-filled dissertation on the unbreakable link between church building projects and the Scriptures. Focusing on Nehemiah's work to have the Temple in Jerusalem rebuilt and at the same time teach the people God's purpose to them, Dr. LeCroy uses personal stories, interviews with Old Testament experts and parishioners, and Martin Luther's "building" sermon to advance his thesis. Dr. LeCroy is a gifted storyteller; as a Pastor, he has served as "product manager" for rebuilding and renovation projects in his parishes, but has also recognized that his primary purpose is "prayer director." Too often church renovation and rebuilding is separated from the spirit and mission of the congregation. Dr. LeCroy argues that the two are absolutely inseparable.I recommend this book highly. It is truly spirit-filled.
