Includes all the plays not hitherto printed, except the Wild-goose chase, the manuscript of which was later recovered and which was printed in 1652.
"The Epistle dedicatorie" is signed by John Lowin, Joseph Taylor, and eight others; "To the reader" is signed: Ja. Shirley, who is usually regarded as the editor.
Initials; head- and tail- pieces.
Engraved frontispiece portrait of Fletcher signed Guliel. Marshall, fecit.
Portrait known in two states. The first state reads "vates duplex" on the fourth line; the second state reads "Vates Duplex" and has "J. Berkenhead" engraved in smaller type.
Various errors in pagination.
