Layout: Written in long lines throughout; leaves 24v-101r are blank; text for remainder of codex is effectively written upside-down.
Script: Variety of cursive hands from the 17th and 18th centuries throughout.
Binding: Bound in calf, perhaps 18th-century; tooled ornamental devices on borders.
Imperfections: Several leaves appear to have been torn out throughout the codex.
Origin: Presumably copied in England; oldest writings date to 17th century, with numerous later additions, probably from the 18th century.
Provenance: 1. Three inscriptions on back inside cover, in 18th-century hands: "Thos. Heygate," "Joseph Hadson," and "Robert Huygate" -- 2. Purchased from Stonehill, 20 July 1945.
