Ruth Yardumian describes her involvement in the establishment of the youth concerts as a high school student in Philadelphia. She mentions Louis Mattson and Arthur Judson. Richard Yardumian explains the effect of a Stokowski letter on his early training; he describes being at a party with Stokowski and Khatchaturian; he recalls Stokowski's "return" to Philadelphia, and the difficult relationship between Stokowski and Ormandy; and he speaks of Natalie Bender's intervention in his own relationship with Stokowski. He mentions Iturbi and Clement McNasty.
