摘要:
A description of two computerized methods, CONCUR and CONVOL, for consolidating information on the total time required to perform two kinds of maintenance tasks. Aircraft maintenance can be separated into those tasks that may be started at the same time and those that must wait until other tasks have been partially or fully completed to be initiated. CONCUR applies to the first group of tasks, CONVOL to the second group. Given the time-to-repair distribution of each individual task, CONCUR determines the time-to-repair distribution of the longest time, i.e., the time to complete all tasks. Similarly, CONVOL determines the distribution of the total time required to complete maintenance, given the distribution of each sequential task. Used together, CONCUR and CONVOL allow probability distributions of times required for distinct maintenance actions to be compressed into a single distribution corresponding to the total aircraft maintenance time. In conjunction with operational data, sorties generation capability can be established. (Author).
