Abstract:

Seven prominent Australians talk about how their own country childhoods have shaped their lives and careers.

Seven prominent Australians talk about how their own country childhoods have shaped their lives and careers. The interviews are fascinating and often demonstrate how growing up in the country has given them a steely determination to succeed in whatever field they have chosen to enter into. Some of the interviewees also talked about a great freedom in their childhood while some shared great tragedy and losses.
