Opmerkingen:	Issued in a portfolio (65 x 54 x 4 cm.) "This Deluxe Edition of 'Cracked: The Art of Charles Grogg' is limited to thirty-eight copies. There are twenty-eight copies numbered 1-28, seven copies for the artist lettered A-G, two publisher's copies, and one 'hors commerce' copy. Each book includes ten bound prints and is accompanied by three loose 'Reconstruction[s],' all printed in platinum and palladium. The photographs were printed by Charles Grogg on Japanese Gampi Torinoko handmade by master paper maker Masao Seki. The design and typography are by Crissy Welzen. The type is printed and composed in Perpetua by Winifred and Michael Bixler. The binding and case are by Amy Borezo."--Colophon. "Three of the ten platinum prints (each signed) in the book include a hand-sewn application by the artist. The three loose prints known as 'Reconstructions' are large 20" x 24" works that are each constructed of nine original solar exposed platinum prints, all sewn together to create the final image.
