Abstract:

"The Crier report" television interviews with Lea Rabin, the widow of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, and with Joel Grey, the American film and stage actor. Rabin talks about the Mideast peace process and her support the efforts of her late husband in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, about her book "Rabin: our life, his legacy," and criticizes Binyamin Netanyahu for fostering a ''hostile climate'' that led (she thinks) to her husband's assassination in 1995.

Grey talks about the roles he played in movies, television and Broadway productions such as Amos Hart in the [1996] Broadway revival of the musical Chicago, the Master of Ceremonies in both the stage and film adaptations of the Kander and Ebb musical Cabaret, Chiun, the old Korean man, in the film Remo Williams (1985), Jacob Prossman on the television series Brooklyn Bridge, and others. Includes excerpts from the musical Chicago and the film Cabaret.
