Dido carries out a mission good deal

I like Dido (heroine of Night Birds on Nantucket) ,who is full of courage and wit. In this case she saves Captain, a difficult old lady and her twin grandchildren, two old ladies (or two witches), and James Ⅳ. She prevents a crime secretly proceeding by Hanoverian.
