Washburn relating to the Civil War, to economic conditions in the United States, and to Minnesota politics; typewritten extracts of Pettit's diaries (1855-1856), revealing his interest in the development of Glencoe (Minn.) and giving information about Minneapolis social and business life; and a record book of the trustees of the Mill Disaster Relief Fund of Minneapolis, 1878.
