Résumé :

Mary Anthony, dancer, choreographer, and teacher, talks about mounting her work Threnody (1956) during a residency at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. She discusses the play that inspired it, Synge's Riders to the sea; her chance discovery of its Britten score; and teaching the dancers how to handle the props required by the piece.
