The dreaded Philistines declare war on the Israelites. The Israelites plunge into despair when they realize that they have no one amongst them who can combat the awesome giant, Goliath. Listening to the words and wisdom of his prophets, King Saul, knows that a young shephard named David will come to fight the mighty Philistine, defeat him, and one day become king of Israel.
