Abstract:

A murder attempt that took place in Saint Petersburg, Russia in 1860 caused the death of a member of the imperial family. A few days later, writer Fjodor Mikhajlovic Dostojevskij encounters Gusiev, a young man who is in a psychiatric hospital.
