Abstract:

This wild child of British Fashion has been making his mark as a designer for nearly two decades. Born Juan Carols Galliano in Gibraltar in 1960, he's known to the fashion world simply as 'John Galliano.' He arrived in London at the age of six, and he graduated with Honors in 1984 from the prestigious Central St. Martin's School of Art. Galliano's senior show received rave reviews and catapulted him into the spotlight, never anticipating that he would make fashion history by being the first British designer in charge of a French couture house.
